Technology & Computer Accessories
Honestly, I have no idea what to call this section. Herein
lies the scanners, tablets, cars, deep-fryers, microwaves, and everything
in-between. Technology is always changing, and some of it tends to catch
my eye, attention, and heartstrings. Entries with a description (or my reasoning
for a certain item, or whatever it ends up being) will be listed on top,
and can be considered the "most wanted" of the page. Beyond the top couple
entries, there isn't a real order to the items listed here, although bold entries
are the most recently added and crossed out entries are now in my
possession (or on their way to me) and will be deleted from the list on the
next update. If you're looking for computer software, check Games (even if
it isn't a game).
USB
Optical Liquid Mouse (note: duck version)
-
Though I have no intention of forever giving up my iPuck (at least for now),
for playing World of Warcraft, it seems almost necessary to have a two-button
mouse with
a
scroll wheel. That is, there are some things you can't do without holding
down the left- and right-mouse buttons at once, and there isn't any way to
do that with a one-button mouse (like my aforementioned iPuck). So while
this could be accomplished with the mouse that comes with newer Wacom tablets,
there's nothing wrong with the Intuos I currently have, so it seems sort
of strange to buy a new one (unless it was a bigger one) for the purpose.
I had the Kensington Irido (see below) here at first, but I feel compelled
to put this mouse in its place. It's cheaper and it's... just ph34r the duck,
okay?

Intuos
Replacement Pen Nibs
- My Wacom Tablet (an original 6"x8" Intuos) has been around and working
since August 6, 2000, and the pen's tip has been around just as long. They
do wear down and need replacing every once in a while... I think four years
is a long enough stretch, don't you?
G4 iBook - 12"
- 1.256GB RAM, 60GB drive, Airport Extreme card. The ultimate in schoolwork-working
on the go (hey, 3D rendering is RAM-intensive! I can't help it.)
Vaja
AP42 3rd Generation 20GB iPod case
- Vaja's iPod Cases are custom-made, so there's not really an easy way to link
to a particular case. The one in question here is the Pistil/Chocolate AP42
with the Soft Leather Lining (the one that doesn't cost extra is, amazingly,
the one I prefer), the UltraClip, and the credit card slot. If the above link
doesn't work, try this
one instead.
